  • Janet Prchal, AIA

    Ms. Prchal graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies in 1979 and a Bachelors of Architecture in 1980. Ms. Prchal is involved with the American Institute of Architects, the North Dakota Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, where she is currently a board member, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a past member of the Dickinson Builders Exchange. She is a registered Architect in North Dakota, Arizona, and New Mexico.

    Ms. Prchal has been a project manager, project architect and designer for the firm since 1983. She has designed numerous projects that vary greatly in size, materials and configuration. Her multi-purpose experience includes health care facilities, university projects, auditoriums, classrooms and multimedia spaces. Ms. Prchal has a broad background from commercial architecture to institutional design and construction. She continues her education and stays up-to-date on current materials and methods through attending seminars and conferences on topics such as Code updates, R-2000 Energy Saving Design, Energy Conservation, Marketing, Metric Workshop I, ADA Handicap Accessibility, new building systems, and materials and products.



    Brian Gregoire, Associate AIA

    Mr. Gregoire earned an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Drafting and Estimating Technology in 1998 and an Associate of Applied Science in Construction Technology in 1999 from North Dakota State College of Science. He continued his education at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design in 2003 and a Masters of Architecture in 2004. Mr. Gregoire is involved with the American Institute of Architects, the North Dakota Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He has completed his Intern Development Program through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is currently taking his Architectural Registration Exams to become licensed.

    Mr. Gregoire offers many years of architectural drafting experience. He has been exposed to a wide variety of project types, ranging from large commercial to high-end residential and log home design. His experience also includes assisting with drafting and estimating, big openings and construction material sales.



    Travis Bean, Associate AIA

    Mr. Bean earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design in 2004 and a Bachelors of Architecture with a minor in Fine Arts in 2005 from North Dakota State University. He is involved in the American Institute of Architecture and the North Dakota Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He is currently completing his Intern Development Program through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Mr. Bean offers design-based experience on projects, with various graphic abilities applied throughout the design process. He specializes in AutoCAD, Design Development, Graphic Design and Project Management.



    Allen Domagala, Project Manager

    Mr. Domagala graduated from the University of North Dakota-Williston in 1976 with an Associate of Applied Science in Drafting. He has been with the firm since 1978 and has extensive experience in projects from both Montana and North Dakota. Mr. Domagala has experience in all phases of projects, including preliminary planning, site planning, construction documents, bidding, construction observation and project close-out. He has also been involved with grant and special funding related to projects. Mr. Domagala continues his education through attending seminars on topics such as Building Codes and Accessibility. He has also earned Asbestos Abatement Inspection and Manager Certification.



    Dick Welk, Project Manager & Inspections

    Mr. Welk attended Dickinson State University as a full time student in Visual Arts. Mr. Welk started a construction building industry in 1970, working as Manager of Dickinson Lumber Company, where he worked in the purchasing department. He later worked in drafting and estimating, while performing inspections on projects and pursing new projects. From 1975 until 2002 he worked independently where he specialized in drafting, estimating of dwelling projects, and building speculation housing. In 2002, Mr. Welk came to work for the firm where he is a Project Manager and does project inspections. He continues his education through AutoCAD, Finance, Real Estate and Dale Carnegie courses.



    Dennis Hulsing, AIA, Emeritus

    Mr. Hulsing earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT in 1970. He also acquired a minor in Independent Studies in Art at Mankato State University in 1971. Mr. Hulsing is or has been involved with the American Institute of Architects, the North Dakota Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the Board of Directors for the Mayor's Committee on Handicapped Accessibility and Rotary. He is a registered architect in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Oregon, and Idaho. Mr. Hulsing keeps himself up-to-date on current materials and methods through attending seminars and conferences on topics such as Alternative Energy Sources, Passive Solar Energy, LEED Training, Value Engineering, Code updates, ADA compliance, new building systems, and materials and products.
