GREEN DESIGN

Many individuals are unaware of the impact that building design has on the world---Industrial buildings are devouring half of the energy generated and contributing to the same amount of carbon emissions. With the world changing around us and the impacts of global warming turning up left and right we have put ourselves in a position to join the fight to change the world towards a more sustainable environment.

We strive to make each design more environmentally friendly. Our major goals are to limit the use of non-renewable materials and harmful off-gassing materials, use local materials, while paying special attention to the building orientation on a site to utilize the climate for better day lighting. Other important green strategies such as vegetative roofs, solar panels, wind turbines, and efficient heating and ventilation systems are important influences to our designs. By following through in these efforts we can create more efficient structures and meet LEED qualifications for our projects.
