|
The Dickinson Research Extension Center or DREC is a new building that consolidates the staff into one main building. They were previously split into two buildings. Consolidating the staff creates better efficiency and allows for greater collaboration between the scientists. The design of the building is intended to keep the look of agriculture and to foster agriculture research. The facility is comprised of 25 offices, 2 meeting rooms, 2 workrooms, 1 library and a large classroom with a kitchen. Construction of the new building was completed in 2006 with a cost of $1,200,000. © 2008-2009 Hulsing & Associates Architects |
